Ever tried playing land-the-ring-on-the-duck?  Yeah, did that at church tonight, and it was freaking hard!  I suppose that makes no sense to any of you, so background:  Marta (our youth director) attended a white elephant party, and came home with a ceramic duck head.  Apparently the rules of the party were that you had to display your "gift" in a prominent place for a year, so she decided to hang it on the wall in the youth room at church.  So now we decided to do a ring toss onto the duck.  The catch?  The bill.  You get the ring over its head, then it hits the bill and bounces off!  Very frustrating, but very funny.  We also attempted Taboo, but we're really bad at it because we're too used to our official-sponsor-game Catchphrase, which has no real restrictions, so we get buzzed a lot in Taboo.  Oh well.  I decided that Meg and Elyssa needed to be enrolled in some wholesome organized activities to straighten them out, ...like a gang.  See, Meg blurted out "I think church is a bad influence on me.", referring to her tendency to drink pop at youth events because Marta unlocked the pop machine.  Then Elyssa was going on about how cool it was that when she got slashed in hockey today she got blood on her jersey for the first time.  I thought that was disturbing, so concluded that hockey was corrupting her mind.  So, if church is a bad influence and organized school activities corrupt your mind, then obviously the way to counteract that would be with something totally the opposite, like a gang.  (Shh, it doesn't have to make that much sense.)  Second crazy day in a row, woo!  Cruising around and getting ice cream yesterday with Heather and Becky was a blast too.  Plus none of us were very coherent, which just added to amusing-ness of it all.  Anyway, that's all for now.  Good luck on finals everybody!
